Purpose! What is the purpose of Visioncon? In the beginning it was an idea. Nothing more. The purpose was to supply a place where a large group of gamers could gather. The idea was that perhaps you might meet some new people to game with. Or perhaps, learn something new.
Today, the purpose is very similar. We have a place for a large group of people to gather and game but now we give to charity a percentage of the profit. Whatever is left over goes back into making the convention better. So I would say that our purpose today is to give to others, meet new people, say hi to old friends, learn something new, and have a good time.
